Nine Reasons to be Grateful this Holiday Season | Geddy’s
As the holidays quickly approach, we thought it only appropriate to take this opportunity to talk about gratitude. It is being thankful for what we have that enables us to see the glass “half-full, not “half-empty.” This one simple word, gratitude, is packed with special superpowers, having the ability to get us through the worst of times and keep us grounded during the best of times.
Gratitude …
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.
It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.
It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
Melody Beattie (American Author)
As we celebrate Thanksgiving, Arthur and I would like to express our sincere appreciation to:
The Business
1. Our amazing customers – without whom we wouldn’t exist.
2. Our awesome crew, with whom we couldn’t do without.
3. Our wonderful vendors, suppliers and service providers, who make all things possible.
The Community
4. Our dedicated fellow business owners in town whom, like us, work hard at what they do in the hopes of building a better tomorrow.
5. The unsung heroes of the Bar Harbor Police & Bar Harbor Fire Departments that work so diligently to keep us all safe.
6. The outstanding Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce for their tireless efforts in helping to promote the town and business community.
7. Our incredible non-profit organizations, like the Mount Desert Island YMCA, with their unwavering commitment and dedication to those less fortunate than ourselves.
Family and Friends
8. Our very special family and friends, whom we cherish dearly and feel so fortunate to have in our lives.
9. Our guardian angels above – forever in our hearts.
With heartfelt thanks
Arthur, our family, and I are sincerely blessed to have you all in our lives and to be part of this awesome community that we call Bar Harbor, Maine – one of the most beautiful places on earth.
With deep appreciation … and warmest wishes to you and your family for a very Happy Thanksgiving!
Gratefully yours,
Heather
